AI Job Impact Report
Cut through the noise and the hype.
There’s a lot of noise and anxiety in the market right now. Headlines keep announcing the end of entire professions. New tools are being released nearly every week, each promising to replace everything. And there’s a quiet, building pressure to abandon expertise you’ve spent years building and reinvent yourself from scratch, fast.
Most of that noise isn’t helpful.
The reality is more nuanced. Yes, AI is disrupting the workforce and reshaping how work gets done. Some tasks you do today will matter less over time.
But the skills that took twenty years to develop, skills like judgment, relationships, strategic thinking, knowing when the numbers are lying, those aren’t going away. In many cases, they’re becoming more valuable, not less.
The challenge is knowing which is which. Where should you focus your energy when the future still feels uncertain?
That’s what this report is designed to help clarify.
Enter your role and industry and you’ll get an honest, grounded breakdown backed by current research. This report will show you where AI is changing your work, what skills are losing ground, and where your human edge is growing stronger.
This report is intentionally designed not to alarm or feed the hype. Simplify and clarify. That’s the goal.

The Unique Shape of AI Anxiety
For many corporate professionals, the anxiety AI is creating is showing up in their body, making it harder to sleep and creating a unique flavor of burnout.
It often looks like anticipatory anxiety about a role that hasn’t gone away but doesn’t feel secure anymore. It sometimes looks like survivor guilt after watching colleagues lose their jobs to automation. It also shows up as emotional exhaustion from being the person responsible for overseeing AI-driven cuts, carrying the weight of decisions that affect real people’s livelihoods. And, it occasionally looks like something harder to pinpoint: a slow erosion of identity that happens when the judgment and expertise you spent decades developing are suddenly being described as replaceable.
These are real mental health concerns that deserve real support. If any of this resonates, workplace anxiety therapy is where I do this kind of work.
If You’re Thinking About Making a Career Change
AI-driven career pivots tend to follow a predictable emotional curve, and most people are currently somewhere in the middle of that curve without realizing it.
It usually starts with denial, then tips into panic. A sudden, urgent feeling that everything needs to change immediately and completely. That panic tends to push people to overcorrect and assume they need to start their career over from scratch.
Most of the time, that’s not what’s required.
The truth is that none of us have a clear picture of where this is heading. The professionals navigating it best are those who identified their next marketable step, took it, and started building confidence in their ability to keep finding their next marketable step as the landscape continues to evolve.
If you want to make a full career reboot, I can help you with that. But for most experienced professionals, identifying a smaller, realistic pivot is going to serve them better.
FAQ
Is AI going to replace my job?
Probably not in the way the headlines suggest. AI is changing how work gets done, but the skills that define senior professionals such as judgment, relationships, strategic thinking, and the ability to read situations that don’t fit a model are becoming more valuable, not less. The disruption is real, but it’s rarely the clean sweep the loudest voices keep predicting.
How is this report different from just asking Claude or ChatGPT about AI's impact on my role?
You can absolutely ask Claude or ChatGPT about AI’s impact on your role, and you’ll probably get a long, reasonable answer. What I intentionally designed this report to do differently is organize your role’s challenges and opportunities into a snapshot you can easily metabolize and act on without adding to your overwhelm and anxiety.
How current is the research behind the report?
The report is updated monthly and draws on the most recent available research for your role and industry. AI’s impact on the workforce is moving quickly, and the report reflects that. It’s not filled with historical projections, but with data the market is showing right now.
What if I've already been using AI in my work?
That’s a good thing. Understanding where AI is changing your field will help you stay ahead of the curve and focus your energy on the parts of your work that are growing in importance.
